How about making some of these proven resources available to parents and advertise them like “This book + less parent/grandparent time than an average work week (just 20 min at a time) = A reading child” or “This book + less parent/grandparent time than a little league or pee wee season = A reading child”

The fully scripted book is less than $13 retail and all races & income levels have used it successfully to get children reading.

Then there is Saxon (“Saxon students KNOW math.” -The community college counselor looking at my son’s CLEP transcript after inquiring about our math curriculum)

Many teachers find it difficult to teach, but this Biology PhD provided short, well done lectures that makes Saxon
    very doable.
