Where is the interior enforcement you promised?

Once again I keep reading this garbage of “Secure the border first”, a typical establishment Republican talking point. If we EVER wish to regain control over our own border, we MUST enforce ALL immigration laws, and THAT INCLUDES workplace enforcement, and prosecution of owners and managers of businesses, companies and corporations that hire and employ illegal aliens.

What about eVerify? Great idea I once thought, until I found how that program works, which has fatal flaws. Thousands of illegal employers hire across Texas and employ illegal aliens off the grid, and off the record by paying cash. Cracker Barrell is one of the offenders, and politicians know this is happening, but look the other way with that wink and nod.

And until this state follows Alabama’s lead by enforcing ALL immigration laws, the crisis of illegal immigration will continue to be a crisis. Alabama began enforcing ALL the laws, and the result was no more over crowded jails or emergency rooms. And the states unemployment rate went down by more than 2 percentage points, and the illegal immigrants left the state on their own.

Ask ANY border agent about this part of the issue, and they will tell you to regain control over our border. WE MUST SHUT DOWN THE JOB MAGNET! And the other magnets that attract them here in the first place. But throughout this whole discussion, NOBODY has mentioned cracking down on the illegal employers.

Allow me to remind all of you the cost to us taxpayers on illegal immigration is nearly $15 BILLION dollars PER YEAR. WHILE THAT ILLEGAL EMPLOYER REAPS THE FINANCIAL BENEFITS FROM THE ILLEGAL LABOR. Just imagine what this state could do with that $15 BILLION dollars per year??? Tax refund to the tax payers, infrastructure improvements…anything but illegal immigration.

In states where they cracked down on illegal immigration, the illegal aliens left the state ON THEIR OWN.
