  • Working Texans

    Started by Team Abbott

Job creation is the lifeblood of our state, our communities and our families. By cutting taxes and limiting government interference in our economy, we will foster an environment where every Texan has the opportunity to succeed. We will also ensure that Texas is prepared for future growth. Without raising taxes, we will protect our water supply and invest in crucial infrastructure and energy development.

Where is General Abbott’s plan to eliminate all income-based taxes on businesses and specific industries? Where is his Jack Kemp-style Enterprise Zone plan applied for all the small towns, small cities, and the larger cities within the triangle region of Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston, San Antonio, Austin, and Waco? Attract businesses to the world’s largest metroplex (within the triangle of DFW, Houston, San Antonio, Austin, and Waco). The attraction of private businesses will attract private jobs, which in turn will attract more people to live in the State of Texas. Also, the State of Texas should implement the Economic Freedoms of The Heritage Foundation’s and Wall Street Journal’s Index of Economic Freedom to the best of a States’ ability.
