    Yesterday on twitter Greg Abbott’s response to a tweet asking why he wanted Pre-K testing:

    “That claim is false. I want more teaching and less standardized tests.”

    How is a state “Gold STANDARD Pre-K” defined & how does it meet federal requirements for taking Pre-K dollars without standardized tests?

    The Gold Standard plan only addresses funding from the state and not federal dollars. Thanks!
