Texas has been a great job provider for our family. The biggest threat to our family finances has been the family court system in Texas. We have a great judge now, but his hands are somewhat tied because of texas laws. It would be ideal if the state of Texas would adopt a loser pays law that can be easily enforced. My husbands ex-wife has used the family court system to abuse our finances and she has never really been required to pay. We have spent over six figures in family court and she not only using it to abuse us, it’s hurting the children’s future as well. As governer, will you address loser pays for family court?
