I work with adults with intellectual disabilities and most are very disabled. I have to work two jobs to make ends meet, and pay taxes on those jobs. There huge disparities between the award packages these disabled people get and some seem like they would be able to make it if they were forced to work. I am thinking it is difficult to want to work myself when seeing some people (Not at work but outside in public) who are on disability who refuse to work, instead of simply not being able to work. How do we make this system for only people who are truly disabled and not able to work?
