  • Good question, Russell. I am a big fan of the OK lawsuit and you can find my comments on at Forbes and in the Daily Oklahoman. It is the last best chance we have of defeating Obamacare through the courts. Two other states have recently filed their own suits based on the OK model. They didn’t want to join it on the same suit because they could have slowed down the OK track. So I strongly support OK AG Pruitt for his efforts.

    I agree. Obamacare takes away a lot of freedoms because it tried to create a one-size-fits all plan rather than something that meets individual needs. It’s a real problem for families with individual challenges like yours.

    David: Republicans have long supported a system of state-based high risk pools. There were 35 when Obamacare passed. Some worked well some didn’t work so well. Federal legislation that created best practices would have been a good idea. But the problem of preexisting conditions, while real, was vastly overblown by Obama.
