    I would like to see the party embrace a higher minimum wage. We are subsidizing corporations which pay very low wages with food stamps and other welfare programs. A higher minimum wage would reduce the staggering income inequality that has developed in this country. I agree with most of the Republican platform, but, if the party doesn’t change on the minimum wage it will be hard for me to support it.
