Per Commissioner Michael Williams the #1 goal for Texas Education is “to eliminate the achievement gap between blacks/Hispanics & whites/Asians.” It seems we will be doing this through universal Pre-K funded by the Federal Government. How are we to believe Greg Abbott will keep Common Core out? Is he supporting Ken Mercer in any way this week?

Aren’t we bought if not resolved to leave Pre-K in the hands of parents, churches and charities?

At what point are we taxed such that it is impossible to keep our little ones with us in order to follow Biblical direction for parents to train them in the ways of the Lord? At what point does it infringe on our religious liberty if larger and larger sums of money are taken from us to finance those Bible free schools? Will Texas continue down the road to tell parents how to educate, medicate….feed…where will it stop before Com Williams’ number one goal is met?
