Workers compensation in Texas is one of the areas of huge fraud primarily by Temporary Help companies, mis-classification of employees when they have a huge pool of employees, a Temporary Help company can claim they only have 5 employees in a high risk area when they actually have 50, and only when one is hurt do they report that employee as being in the proper classification when we should simply classify each employee and then list it in their employee record reported to the state. This would save hundreds of Thousands Dollars of fraud. It is a simple process to implement and then easy to monitor.

Additionally State Unemployment, people on Unemployment should not be allowed to refuse any position offered when unemployed, most of the people on unemployment apply and then say I can get more money being unemployed from the state.

Thank you for raising the issue, Mr. Hall. What would you suggest the state do?
