If you don’t like it, don’t smoke it. Legalize it because it is healthier and safer than alcohol. Legalize it because it will bring in more money. Legalize it because it will decrease crime (No point in arguing about this one, the facts are already there). Legalize it because it will cripple the Mexican drug cartels. Legalize it because people are gonna smoke it anyway…a LOT of people…your friends and neighbors…

Texas is ready for Marijuana Reform. The World Health Organization has completed its report to be presented to the United Nations which recommends no more long prison sentence for addiction.
With the news concerning Cannabis and Seizure Disorders it is imperative that Texas take care of our own. Should not be making people with children move off to Colorado to be treated for the serious medical conditions.
2015 is the time for Texas to lead the south. Georgia already has both a Medical and Legalization Bills filed! If Texas wants to be a Leader the time to act is now … or we wait some more and follow the lead of others.
2013 Bills were in Committee and should have been worked on 2013. We can use the extra Tax money for Education, Roads, Bridges and Parks!!
There is an unlimited amount of cash flow available. Must have Home Grows!!! Taking care of the plants is therapeutic!!!

Medicinal cannabis is so needed here in Texas. Registered Republican, with over 20 years as a nurse and a patient who suffers chronic pain from Lyme for disease (something else I would like to see you take an interest in) I have seen first hand the benefits of medicinal cannabis on siezure and pain patients please study to show yourself approved and then I pray you have empathy on those who need your help so desperately. We are losing to many Texans as they look to other states for the medical help they need.

I speak only for myself when I say that I am tired of giving so much of my money to big pharmacy companies for the drugs I need to breath on a daily basis. I have done a lot of research and talked with many who have the same thing I do but are treating it with medical marijuana and or cannibis oil and having awesome results because of it. We need to take a stand, Put our Texas citizens in the fore front and get the laws changed so we can keep our money and people here in Texas. A lot of people are seeking homes in legal states so they can take care of their health issues that they are not allowed to do while living here. The results of the use of medical marijuana can be read about all over the internet. Just ask the people. They will tell you.
